I use Windows 10 and I can't run more than one WU at a time without getting a ton of invalid results on my R9 390X. I have only had one invalid result since I switched to one WU on February 15th. Spoke too soon...
Interesting information... looks like I was not the only one having at least some problems in 10 with this type of card.
I'm sure Mint will work nicely for you. I've been running there 2x so far with two other hosts. I tried 3x some time ago but that didn't work. Tasks failed quickly while running. I haven't tried again.
Ps. Here's useful instructions for installing that driver:
This step is required, otherwise installer won't run: "3. Look for the file "amdgpu-pro-install" open it with an editor and search for the word "ubuntu" replace it with "linuxmint" and then save the file."

Whoooops, yes, that's the computer I meant. I've been running 2x in Mint on and off for about 9 hours with good times and no invalid results. I need to use Windows 10 so I won't completely switch to Linux, but if it keeps up the good work, I'll run Mint whenever I'm not using the computer.
