For what it's worth, the graphics in Einstein@Home is done using the 'FreeGLUT' OpenGL library. If you have the patience, you might post a question on their message boards and ask if there is any known problem with GLUT and GLUTInit() on your graphics hardware.
67.66 is not a released driver version -- it is beta. Have you tried with 66.93? I know many people like to use the latest and greatest, but as we have all found at times, these things can have bugs.
The 5950 card does not need such a new driver -- the 53.03 version is one of the most stable nVidia drivers I've seen, and works with most of the 5950 cards (but not the ASUS. Use 61.76 or 61.77 with that). I'm using a 5900XT at the moment, with the 61.76 driver, and have no problems, although I'm not using the Valve/Steam stuff. Was there some fix for Valve/Steam in 67.66? All I saw mentioned were fixes for SLI cards and 6800's (for half-life 2).
I´m also unable to view graphics, but as Ulli wrote i´m running Boinc 4.22.
But on my machine no window comes up when i hit show graphics.
It works with seti normaly.
My machine is AMD XP 2800+ with Win XP Pro SP1a.

I'v fallen back to those drivers and no change.
Also, I got a WU from Seti and it too hjas the same issue.

Only the Valve/Steam games using the Source rendering engine cause the black screen in E@H. Older non-Source games don't cause the problem.
So it's either E@H/BOINC isn't resetting the video settings on startup or Valve/Steam isn't restoring them on exit.
So far it's only E@H exhibiting the problem -- I can't test with S@H because their servers are down and I don't have a WU to test against anymore.
I'll file bugs on both Valve's and nVidia with version numbers for reference.
