Can you recommend us something interesting to read for this summer?
What about foreign language books/readings?
I have started several times the book "Don Quijote de la Mancha" by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra [in Spanish language] but never got to the third chapter!!!
Once I found the book in Russian language and after a couple of sentences, I started to laugh out loud and quit!!!
Now I am reading the comic "Asterix and the Normans" in Russian--->"ÐÑÑ‚ÐµÑ€Ð¸ÐºÑ Ð¸ Ðорманны"
The best way to learn how to speak and read other languages is simple:
start with something not too heavy and have a dictionary not far away!
Join this group--->Combining tourism, foreign languages and SETI@home
for free and share with us the experiences and challenge of the Russian language or Spanish or maybe better English oder vielleicht Deutsch als Fremdsprache?
This is/will be a team of people that accept all from abroad, no matter the project, willing to put forth all that unused processor time, for a cause that may prove to be one of the most major scientific discoveries ever known to the planet Earth. From the creation of time travel, to life elsewhere from another solar system, to who knows, as long as there is that possibility that something good could come from helping a cause whether it's truly understood or not. Welcome, everyone, and please join this team, if you share similar views, or would like to add to them.
Whether your using the oldest of computers, to the newest, we welcome anyone and everyone. Please, join my team, and lets make a difference. Yes, you could join any team, but this team is for those people whom either just want to sit back and watch, while they work, take care of their families, or for even those whom want to actively participate and compete against one another, we welcome it. I'm the creator of The Silent Observers, and I've been doing this for a very long time, and I finally stuck with a profile (this one) since 2005. I went off the radar for a while but now I'm back, and I want to help make a difference. Care to join me?
I would also like to welcome you to please join me in another project, SETI@Home, where my resources are currently aimed, to establish a good start before splitting my processor time between the two projects again. Please join my team here on Einstein, and as well on SETI. Our team home page is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=141273. Come make a difference with me and the other Silent Observers and lets watch our team and our numbers grow to great heights!!!
