Will the problem with Linux users crunching for twice as long as windows users be fixed?
I crunch at 14hrs/WU on Linux and 8hrs/WU in Windows....I hate windows.
*Edit. That said...I'm happy if I know Linux produces "correct" results whereas Windows produces "Fast" results.

I get good results on both WIndows and OS-X ... :)
This is one of the reasons I had/have so much interest in the potential of the work that some of the optimizers were doing. Not only expirimenting with the SETI@Home code with compilers and compiler options, but on re-doing some of the libraries with hand coding.
