Unfortunately they don't

Unfortunately they don't offer this deal here - I really like ice cream and would appreciate if they would make a new law for the EU that each town has to have places where you can exchange BOINC credits for ice cream :-)

I would vote for that. I thought you were in the USA - obviously not. Germany seems a good bet. Hope you all were not troubled by our English fans.

I have to appologize to the admins and devs:

Ananas made me look a bit closer at the times and machines of my fellow crunchers, who did the same WUs as I did, and I was plain fast. It's a solution I would never have thought about: I've got an old AMD under Linux, that's usually the machine to get little credit and/or crunch slow. but teh people here obviously build a power booster for Linux (or AMD, but I more suspect Linux), so that I can crunch a WU in 30K sec with an Athlon 2200+, 500MB, whereas an P4 3GHz, 1GB needs 61 K sec for the same valid result.

I very much thank you for this improvement:)

But the 3GHz P4 I think is a HT machine crunching 2 WUs in 61K sec...

So it crunches 2 in the same time (60Ksec) that I need for 2 (2 * 30Ksec), that's still only the same time, but it should be faster.
