I agree! And, since I may be guilty of "firing the first shot" (although unintentionally) in this little diversion, maybe I can help get back on topic.
It was my impression a few days ago, that this BOINC was about to go "official"; but, last I checked it had not made it to the main BOINC download site (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php). Has it been "pulled back for a while or is it still imminent?

But thanks! My old cats became 13 years and 15 years old, and my Bouncer Jupiter is only 3 years old. So a 18+ years old cat is really special! I hope you'll still have some good years with your Fuzzball! My girlfriend had two Persians, which became 21 and 23 years old, so some of the long-haired cats can be very old! Of course it's genetic, but one can allways hope!

I believe there is an issue with the 5.2.1 version where I cannot merely join using the key that was e-mailed to me - there is a place for it (not for cats tho' - sorry :) ) but having cut and paste I am then refused access by the server. Hence I am trying to get the password input into the einstein@home server, and then hammering out some WUs. Any ideas ladies and gents ??

Dear Fuzz (may I call you Fuzz?) - I couldn't help notice that you followed the example of the pseudonymously duplicitous Mr. and Mrs. anon, with regard to quitting a very worthwhile scientific endeavor, in 'disgust', and that you're still posting in the forum, and so I was wondering: If some extra-terrestrial intelligence contacted you, would you treat it with the same disdain as you have done with basic terrestrial intelligence?
OK now I am confused - the new client 5.2.1, which accessed SETI@home with no issues (still downloading WUs as I type this - around 35 of the lil blighters) does something a bit weird. I tried the "attach to project" wizard for einstein@home, and right at the end I was informed that the attaching had failed. I was staring in frustration at the screen, when suddenly einstein@home shows up in the project list. Anyhow I am now downloading einstein@home along with SETI@home which should give this box something to think about. I am still worried about that "attaching failed" message, with no other hint from the server. I assume that is one of the reasons why this version has not been released. However at least I can now work with Einstein@home
All this doesn't help with my orig problem - not being able to enter a password into the website database. Am I the only one with this issue ? I can access the site using the e-mailed key and so forth, but when I want to input a password, after clicking on the submit button I get a blank screen with the navigation bar at top....
