We have just begun to ship new versions (1.28) of the BRP4 app for all supported OpenCL platforms, which include two new platforms

- Mac OSX Intel (Lion and Mountain Lion) 32 bit
- Windows (XP/Vista/7/8) 64 bit

in addition to the platforms already supported before:

- Windows (XP/Vista/7/8) 32 bit
- Linux (Intel), 32 bit.

All versions require that you have:

- BOINC 7.0.27 or later installed. It is recommended to use the latest stable BOINC version from here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
- an OpenCL 1.1 capable GPU by ATI/AMD
- adequate drivers installed that support OpenCL 1.1

A note for Windows XP users: please note that AMD removed OpenCL support from their Catalyst drivers for Windows XP (and XP only) for driver versions higher than 12.1.

If you encounter any problems, feel free to post in the Problems forum here http://einsteinathome.org/node/196484. We will also have a dedicated "HowTo" for GPU crunching on ATI/AMD GPUs soon.

Changes:
========
- added support for Mac OSX
- Native 64 bit app on Windows
- No longer a need to have a special version for HD 69xx cards
- Performance improvements. Depending on the hardware, the app nun runs approx. 1.5 to 2.5 times as fast as the previous version.

Cheers
