Originally this game is meant for a board that supports table of contents. code
But lets see wot Dirk comes up with.
But either way you gotta refresh the list so :-/
I was thinking about Google Docs......it is an interesting feature which permits you and other people online edit a document, in this case, our scoring board. It is quite similar to Microsoft Excel. The only important prerequisite is that the emails of the participants is needed.I can invite third parties :
* To edit
*To view
with some options of privacy:
* Always require sign-in
*Let people view without signing in
*Let people edit without signing in
At the moment it is the only improvement I can suggest and use immediately.
If this idea is interesting to you, the next step is to open a new email account with Google. As you probably know, it is free of charge and with no limits of storing space.
I have never tried it before, so it would be something like an experiment!
Maybe editing the list with BBCode is the better option.
See you tomorrow, cheers!
I volunteer to post the updated scores periodically, with perhaps it being "minimized" into BBCode size=2. That way, if one wants to know what the score is, a simple "Reply" button push will readily answer the query. And it would pose minimal interruption to the thread.
Example:
Usernames/Score/Movies:
nevermore / 5/ They Live
Mike / 5/ Dr NO
Dirk / 5/ Bullitt
Mike H. / 5/ Rio Bravo

So I think means I throw to a proxy! Any takers?
I can do that but it will probably be later today...

I tried to find a suitable screencapture program to pull from video but it just isn't happening. Thank God for Google image search. I'm gonna try again at a later date (may end up using the Windows box to do it).
