My apologies if I got anyone

My apologies if I got anyone into trouble. There is very little traffic on the Collatz boards which is why I posted here. I'm also an Einstein cruncher and there's tons of folks here who know about running multiple tasks on gpu's, so I thought I'd ask the pro's.

One response I got was to check a box on my Collatz computing preferences. That box doesn't exist for Collatz as it does for Einstein. Then Christoph kindly replied on Collatz but I hadn't been over there for a few days. Thank you Christoph. I haven't had time to dig into your link, but I understand what you are getting at. I was thinking all along that an app_info.xml file was going to be needed, and I think I have one already. If I remember correctly, the only group of lines I have in there are to utilize all gpu's. Of course, that doesn't allow for multiple tasks on one gpu, and doesn't help me now since I can't get my old card into a comfortable slot on my mobo, but after digging through your link, I'm sure I'll discover the dialogue to support what I want to do.

Thanks for responding. I'll drop a note over at Collatz so it doesn't look like I'm falling asleep at the wheel.

That would be the cc_config.xml file, not the app_info.xml. ;-)

That would explain why I

That would explain why I can't find an app_info.xml file anywhere on my drive.
