Reading all the hurrays here

Reading all the hurrays here I just realize that we also belong to the rare species of participating 10 years (passing on 9th February 2015) and just breaking through the wall of 300 million cobblestones for the Einstein@Home project.

Last week we - and our tin buddys - were melting away at near 40 degrees celsius; temperature of some graphic chips climbed up to 88 degrees (yes, it is a tale that the lifetime of a graphic card would then drastically shortened, on the contrary, they feel toasty while bathing in this hot environment :-).

We feel the fiever loocking forward to the upcoming new runs of Avanced LIGO this year.

Congratulation to all cruncher and the ones who make this all possible !

Welcome to the second decade

Welcome to the second decade crunchers group Arthur & Laura & Basil

Nice work and those 3 machines you have look nice.

My 560Ti only has a quad so yours gets a lot more done than mine.

And yeah the 560Ti is my hottest running card and I had several weeks of the hot weather here so it was hard to keep her under 90C

The 660Ti stayed around 70C and the 650Ti runs cooler than the others I have even though they all sit together.

The temp here has dropped to where I prefer out here (lower 70's)

Of course me crunching all the different Cern tasks at the same time also slows down my GPU's here.

Keep on crunchin' and also keep those cards running as long as possible!!
