I hit 350K on Einstein today. Things are looking good.
I wish to say congrats to each one of you with all your milestones, be them small or large. We are all working toward a goal, and each of our contributions are important.
I past today 50000 credits with einstein@home. I run einstein on 2 oldies, a PIII 550 Mhz and a celeron 733 Mhz, both on a very old asus P2B motherboard. I am very happy with this, one computer does not even have a casing. The next post for the 100.000 mark, will be around summer 2007.
Yeah and my 486 only has 25 MHz and 8 MB of Ram... so maybe that's not such a good idea ^^ although I would most certainly get small WUs, because if such a PC doesn't count as a "slow host" what would?
Gratz, that's impressive for such a short time. Got my own little milestone myself, though: I passed 10k in Einstein, plus my Laptop crunched its first WUs under Linux ;-)

You better hope you get a "small" workunit. I think there's a two week limit on returning results...
