    What does the button show when you highlight the Einstein project?

    What does the Status column show for Einstein?

    And what does the message log say, especially with [sched_op_debug] set? Are you actually requesting all this extra work, as in

      Or were they still downloading anyway, when you set NNT? As downloads already started will continue if you set NNT.

      OK, a bit of a long summary

        OK, a bit of a long summary is... (skip to the end for the diagnosis)

        I upgraded to boinc 6.10.43 and left boinc to it's own devices. I also disabled a second monitor on my graphics card so that there was now nearly 512MBytes GPU RAM available for CUDA.

        Boinc downloaded the 32-bit Einstein CUDA application. This is on a 64-bit Mandriva Linux system. Boinc then requested ABP2 CUDA WUs in gulps of 12 at a time.

        After continuous downloads and an ever increasing WU list, all despite only having a half-day cache setting, I then set NNT. The log at that point is:
