Manager not connecting to localhost

Hi,
Lately, on computer http://einsteinathome.org/host/4268404, manager will not connect to the local host. It stays "connecting". From the research I've done this is usually due to the client not running. However when I ps -A, I do find the einstein work units running. I have used "apt-get --purge remove boinc-manager" and reinstalled it, but manager still does not work.
Any ideas?
