Just getting around to paying attention to a number of issues.
I know the weather forecast indicates a number off heavy damp patches around your area, Chris. But my reading of the forecast for last night, on BBC TV news, was that the north end of the heavy rain was likely to either miss us completely or to catch us. So I am hopeful that the former will apply.

Well all I can say is there is a report in todays Express that the met office have issued a 24 hour severe weather warning today for essex, the east coast and Lincolnshire. A month of rain in two days it says.

I see your warning, but the reality doesn't reflect the forecast.
I have just been watching BBC News 24 which indicates that the range is now moving to the East, into the North Sea, and has missed us completely. From what I can see, and remember, the upper limit to the heavy rain was just north of the Wash (around Boston). It needs to come a lot further west to get us.
We have just taken our dogs for a long walk, during wich the sun is trying to break through (this is very weak).
I think we may well get completely away with wet weather, but I guess you guys are getting a bit of a beating down your way. Much more central forecast than us.
As I am still dry this allows me to win!
