It's funny that later this

It's funny that later this morning my time (PDT UTC -7) I seemed to have a stretch of these run to completion OK.  Then I looked later today and they are all 'going south' again.  Dang I was thinking the situation was resolved..

Seems to be no pattern to which amdgpu fails the most on these at any given time.  Lately it's all of them again.  Any M22 flavor.

Yeah, I just removed the project for now and started working on Milkyway@Home.  I'll come back after they finish.  The last thing I want in another 24 backoff from the server because of failed tasks.

Problem seems to be solved up to now.

Hello! My situation is as follows: BRP7 samples (are downloaded in version 0.12), but are immediately interrupted. Does anyone have a similar problem? I have no problem with GW samples. I use Windows 10, Radeon RX6900xt+Ryzen 7900 X3d

Your MeerKat tasks are

Your MeerKat tasks are getting insta-aborted because of this:

201 (0x000000C9) EXIT_MISSING_COPROC

Check your BOINC Event Log startup for gpu detection.

Looks like your gpu drivers are not installed or up to snuff for the BRP7 tasks.

New app version of BRP7

New app version for BRP7 (MeerKAT) 0.12 for Windows on Intel iGPU released today.

Beta test app version: 0.12 (BRP7-opencl-intel_gpu) (beta_test); created: 26 Sep 2023, 13:12:48 UTC

All BRP7 tasks immediately error out within 2 seconds after task start. Science app did not create a result file. BOINC client reports:

'Computation for task [long task name string] finished.
'Output file [long task name string] absent'.

Nothing gets uploaded. There's only an error message in the task's local stderr.txt (in slot directory) if you're fast enough to read it before BOINC client cleans up this slot after task failed.

Example task

from local stderr.txt (not uploaded to einstein server):

Activated exception handling...
[16:13:51][9320][INFO ] Starting data processing...
[16:13:51][9320][INFO ] Using OpenCL platform provided by: Intel(R) Corporation
[16:13:51][9320][INFO ] Using OpenCL device "Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600" by: Intel(R) Corporation
[16:13:51][9320][ERROR] Error in OpenCL context: Build program failure.
[16:13:51][9320][ERROR] Couldn't build OpenCL program (error: -11)!
[16:13:51][9320][INFO ] OpenCL shutdown complete!
[16:13:51][9320][ERROR] Demodulation failed (error: 2010)!
16:13:51 (9320): called boinc_finish(2010)

This machine ran for years FGRPB1G and BRP4 GPU tasks on Intel iGPU without any problems.

Since yesterday I no longer

Since yesterday I no longer have a problem. I reset the project and reinstalled boinc. I think one of these things helped me.
