You'll have to give that

You'll have to give that command in an admin command window (right click on icon). Logging in as admin isn't sufficient.

In vista or later applications don't normally run with admin rights even if the account is an admin type. To do so, you need to right click on the icon on your start menu/taskbar and select Run As Admin.

The superadmin account is a throwback to XP and prior and runs all applications with admin rights; it can be useful if you need to make a large number of changes at once, but should not be used on a day to day basis.

Now I need the boinc.dll. I have a copy of it. Can I simply copy to my dll dir or can I copy it to my \windows\whatever dir. I copied it to different folders, but nothing helped. Whenever I log into Win 7 I have to reinstall 7.0.25.

What for? That's only useful if you run with a pre-BOINC 6.12 BOINC Manager. Since BOINC 6.12 (and so in 7.0 as well), BOINC no longer uses boinc.dll

Only people who want to run with the BOINC Manager from e.g. 6.10.58, will need boinc.dll, else you don't need it.

Apropos, BOINC 7.0.28 is now the recommended version. Amongst a lot of other fixes, it contains a fix for the 'add user to boinc_admins group' fix.

I give up. I uninstalled

I give up.
I uninstalled 6.10.60 64bit and installed 7.0.28 64bit. The link is not working, I can only start boinc as admin. I am in the boinc_users group!

I will switch to Linux, all WU's run faster there.

??? What link isn't working? If you got BOINC from that link and it installed fine, then the link is obviously working. You require an administrator account to install BOINC, the installer can't be started with a lower rank account.

Have you just clicked on through the installer and forgot to check "Allow all users on this computer to control BOINC"?

Seeing how your host runs work quite fine on 7.0.28, all you may have to deal with is the manager. And for that, you may have to (re)check the firewall settings, make sure BOINC its parts can still pass through unhampered.

However, since you didn't state what your problem is, and I can't look over your shoulder, you'll have to be a little more eloquent in describing your present problem, than as you've been thus far.
