As I said in my initial reply to your first post, I assumed you were trying to do something with the processing of resends as part of the cleanup of the remaining tasks for the current run which finishes very shortly. As it turns out, your query was nothing to do with the subject of the thread in which you posted it. I created that thread specifically to track, report on and comment about the fairly hectic "goings on" that always seem to accompany the very last stages of a run.
I normally wouldn't worry too much about the hijack but, in this case, the really interesting part is about to start and I want to keep my story going without too much other noise creeping in. As your problem now seems to be completely resolved, I'm going to shift everything related to it into this new thread. I've chosen a title which (hopefully) reflects what your problem really was about.
You may not even be reading messages here anymore but you should get notification that your post was moved. Perhaps your curiosity will get the better of you :-). This message should act as an explanation of why a number of posts were moved, to anyone who wants to know.
Thanks for your contribution to E@H and good luck with your future crunching exploits!
Yes, resending lost tasks seems to be independent of NNT.

This is true only at projects with older version of the Boinc Server software, at projects with newer Boinc Server software, Resent lost task will then only occur if you actually ask for work,
part of the reasoning behind this is that it reduces the database load,
