Mike, I gotta say, I like

Mike, I gotta say, I like your idea for a new detector! Sounds like a real nice design.

BTW, my neighbour saw a wave pass by, but it later turned out he was high as a kite. Not to be recommended ;-)

Yes, I agree. Perhaps Esme can keep an observance while she's over there in the shade... if the hammock starts swinging then a possible wave has come through. Or the wind has picked up...

How's this:

- Two rows of hammocks. Some end to end along an 'X' arm and another row making up the 'Y' arm. They could even intersect somewhere if you like.

- Load them up with our dedicated crew here. Criteria for inclusion to be published.

- Attach bells on strings or your favorite disturbance detector. I'd go for empty beer cans, that way our sensitivity will increase as time goes on. Also I'll take the Y-arm end station ( near the telly ).

- suitably trained service personnel to 'maintain' this delicate array.

- call it, say, the Lazy Inanimate Great Observatory ( but I'll consider alternates on this ).

- Oh .... and Es can be the Observatory's Director. Not so much a sinecure position as a manicure one.

I think it has potential as a design. There would also be the E@H ( Eat A Horse ) project on the side - plenty of 'crunching' to do - my preference is Tim-Tam chocolate bickies.

Cheers, Mike.

Sounds excellent..I'll just make myself comfy over here and break out the Bacardi.

I will of course be making the essential addition of tiny cocktail umbrellas which are know for their sensitivity to gravity waves and have been used by alien civilisations for millennia not only to brighten up a cocktail...but to enable space flight for their luxury gravity wave space yachts.

I hear that gravity waves may be bent by the light of the moon.

The moon will be at it brightest this phase when it is full on May 2.

Hope the gravity waves will not hit the gyroscope on my broomstick when being on my flight back from Walpurgis Night convention :-)

Love, Michi

I pretty sure all you have to do wiggle your nose
and you would be right back on course :)

Try a little wobble in your orbit..see if that shakes anything loose.
