My estimated times have now been adjusted to show correct times, about 8 hours. The DCF on this host is 0.21.
Most of my Sky points have been 28 and a few 30. There are also two with 275 Sky points, here is one: http://einsteinathome.org/task/455786830, they took about same time as tasks with 30 Sky points.
DCF is now 0.265957, changed from 0.263017. Not sure that really means anything at this point. Estimated times have changed again to even shorter, less than 2 hours. Actual run times and credits are widely varied. We must be getting different size work units.
This is on computer ID: 11395452, an i7 mini-Mac.
This is for the FGRP4-SSE2 tasks.

Edit: While I was typing this the numbers changed again. Now work units are showing 11 hours estimated time to run, except the last 2 downloads, which are showing 8 hours. Perhaps someone "upstairs" could explain what's going on.
The change from "Estimated times ... less than 2 hours" to "11 hours estimated time" will have been accompanied by a change in DCF on your machine (although that may not have been reported back to the server yet). Perhaps you could post the new value?
OK, never mind, it was reported back in the last server contact.

Thanks,
I had believed that valid completions receiving 693 credit were all 30 skypoint/checkpoint work. So I in searching for variety I had been clicking on jobs receiving lesser credit than 693 and not checking additional 693 units.
With only a moderate amount of additional 693 checking, I currently think I see:
most are 28 or 30 skypoint, but I have also seen:
29 (once)
274 (few)
275 (more common)
So my claim for pretty good correlation of skypoint count to execution time requirement looks pretty flimsy now.

FYI, we reduced the estimated runtime for FGRP4 by a factor of 5, based on observations here in the forums as well as on data in the task database.
Please note that some FGRP tasks are shorter than others which explains your observation.
