From the error report it

From the error report it looks like your ephemeris file went missing or can't be read or has the permissions changed.

The file is named JPLEPH.405

Check that it is still in the project directory.  Also can you can re-download it from its URL entry in the client_state.xml file if it is missing.

Or borrow it from another host of yours that is running the FGRPB1G tasks correctly.

Ah thx. The file is there but event with chmod 777 I keep getting this error.

But nevermind I wanted to switch to another distribution anyway so I will change it later and see if it works then. Maybe I destroyed something on my current installation since I am a Linux noob :D

Hello,

Do we have an updated estimate on the number of remaining tasks?

Kali.

Kali.

see the status page: https://einsteinathome.org/server_status.php

right now 16,852,181 units remaining, and by current production estimates is projected to take about 75 days. the 5-day average production is still a bit inflated from a recent competition, so in reality it's probably closer to 100-150 days.

Hello. Back when I was crunching for SETI, I used Petri's optimized app and worked great. Didn't realize that they are on Einstein as well (Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs Anonymous platform).  Unfortunately, looks like this app is winding down.

"Binary Radio Pulsar Search (MeerKAT) Anonymous platform" seems to be another optimized app. Is this one planning to take WU's for a while, and could someone point me to where I could download please? Are there other optimized apps for Einstein as well?

Thank you in advance.

FGRPB1G is totally gone, finished.  The only tasks running are being resent to others to complete the project.

For us at Einstein, or at least for our Team GPUUG, BRP7 (MeerKAT) is the one of choice.
