Already tried that. It had no effect. I've disabled the antivirus (I'm running a Mac, so I'm not in any danger from viruses--yet). So far, so good. I'm not celebrating until I have about 5 CPDN models successfully finished.

So you did find a way to "I'm thinking the real problem might be a conflict between CPDN and McAfee. However, I'm not sure how to formally diagnose it or solve such a conflict."
I hope McAfee sees this, although I doubt it, and sees that THEIR software could be causing problems!!

ONe other note, I have not had much luck with CPDN coupled models and the Mac ... at times the support for the Macs is a little lacking in that they are a smaller percentage. ON my part I have unchecked the coupled models and I have been running lots of models well ...

I know I kept getting false positives on one of the applications from YoYo ... a known issue that never seemed to get resolved.
Anyway, something to look into as a possibility.
