With ctrl-alt-delete bring up window task manager

aolload.exe
Problem aolload.exe loads at 10 minutes after starting computer regardless if AOL is loaded or if I am on line. Aolload.exe takes over cpu time and runs at close to 100% all the time. The conflict is with BIONIC research programs and cuts BIONIC 1% to 10% of cpu time. The conflict is with all other programs on net causing display and loading problems - maybe even the AOL top speed loading problem.
Spiral_tcp_wnd_class appears to be locking up from a aolload.exe load and gives a pop up non-response program on closing system and shutting down. I reinstalled AOL9.0 security program and got same results. Can right click aolload.exe and select end process to remove aolload.exe from system and AOL software appears to work OK. This action also allows BIONIC program to run normally.
I googled spiral_tcp_wnd_class and found others were having problem with this data and pop-up on shutting down.

I also had the same problem: Spiral_TCP_Wnd_Class, I spoke with AOL who said it wasn't their problem, the told me to call HP. HP had some recommendations, but didn't work. I by chance went to AOL and used their One Click fixes...I used several, but I think the one that stopped the Spiral_TCP_Wnd_Class problem was the the titled "Restart Computer This one click fix restarts your computer". I haven't had a problem since using this.
BOINC does take 100% CPU time if allowed. But it easily gives up CPU abilities to other programs that ask for CPU time. One way to have a WU program use more of the CPU and not give in so easily to other programs, is, to use CNTRL + ALT + DEL, under proccesses, right click on the WU program under progress at the time. (If you have many projects running, many WU programs may show up, but not taking CPU time. Find the one taking more than 0 CPU time) right click on the proccess, under Set Priority, set to HIGH, NOT REALTIME, that will most likely cause a complete computer lockup, and will restart or stall the WU altogether. Problem with doing this, is that you must keep setting the priority from Low to High, everytime the program changes. But it can be a temporary way of increasing the CPU time to that particular program. It is also useful when running high CPU intensive programs and tasks, such as video's etc. But, be careful not to set the priority to high, without testing the lower levels, to avoid lockup. :D If you have any questions, you can email me.
