Anything happening here?

Message 4551 in response to message 4550

Anything happening here? SETI's down with the flu again.

not a whole lot happening here...it's quiet as usual...i just beamed in here from the laundrymat...actually i'm at home...waiting to go back when the laundry is ready to go in the dryer...fun stuff.

Hey Dan,
I do my laundry, starting at about 5:30 every Sunday morning. Get it done early and I can spend the rest of the day doing whatever.

Things are happening over at the "Break my forum" site. I don't even know why I'm there. I am not in the same league as Celtic Wolf or NA or AthalonRob. I wouldn't even consider myself as small potatoes. I guess I signed up because the invite was there.

I wonder what they did to SETI this time. The Cogent connection is still up, but now there's no database access.

Well, I'm gonna wander around for a little while longer. I'll probably bump into you again before the night is done. Catch ya later, Dan

I've been at the Break the forum site and Rob has done one hell of a job on the forum code. The quoting is great. It puts a vertical blue line in front of the italisized quote and is indented. It looks great.

This is an experiment:

This is an experiment:

This is a test to see if fonts can be changed. I believe we can do it if you know how to do it in HTML. I'm hoping that this text has indeed been changed. This text should be in the default font that the forum allows.

EDIT:
Yep, it worked. This is Fixedsys and this is the default. The bold on the Fixedsys is by default, I believe. I did not make it bold.

I did some more experimenting, at the break the forum site, and found out I can use the font I use in my e-mail client Thunderbird. I've used it for several years now, in other clients before TBird. This is cool!

Still up, huh Dan? Well, I'm gettin' ready to crash out in a bit. Have to go to work in the mornin'. This'll prolly be my last post tonight. Hopefully, SETI will be back up tomorrow. G'night....
