Sorry, should have said Macs running CUDA version higher than 6.49. I've seen others with Macs having the same problem and have a somewhat fuzzy recollection about some problems with Macs and newer CUDA versions a month or two ago. Should be a thread about it around here somewhere.
One of my NVIDIA equipped machines running CUDA will not pick up BRP4G units and has only been picking up stray BRP6 units. I recently upgraded to CUDA 8.
This is what the log says:
Sun 02 Oct 2016 xx:yy:zz PM CDT | Einstein@Home | Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) is not available for your type of computer.
It's got an NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M and has been running Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Parkes PMPS XT) v1.56 (BRP6-cuda55-Lion) x86_64-apple-Darwin on Mac OS Sierra.
,I'd like to fix this before I run out of recycled BRP6 units.
What do you have enabled? "Arecibo" is not the GPU application. Its "Arecibo, GPU".
I wish I still had some BRP6 units left. I ran out of those a long time ago.
Yeah, I meant the Arecibo GPU, and it started working last night. I now have a couple of Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo, GPU) v1.56 (BRP4G-Beta-cuda55-Lion) x86_64-apple-Darwin tasks in my queue, along with a bunch of the recycled BRP6's. So everything seems to be running nominally now.
Sorry, should have said Macs

I was referring to the event log which said Arecibo:

It didn't say (Arecibo, GPU) but good to see you got some WUs.
