I can't seem to get workunits for the iGPU in my 4790k. Is it required to check 'beta apps' in the preferences for this to work? From the info below, my driver seems to be too new - even though I installed it from a year old Intel download. I don't know where to get even older drivers, I can't find old versions on Intel's site.
Beta driver 4404 up on Intel for the HD Graphics 530. I've run through 5 BRP4 work units with it. First has validated, one inconclusive the rest are pending. There is no stderr output for the tasks (or my wingman).
The one validated task had plan class opencl-intel_gpu-Beta for me but my wingman has opencl-intel_gpu-new. The apps appear to be the same except for the plan class.
Skylake, driver 4404 beta: exactly the same result for the test WU as with 4300 and 4380 (invalid). Your valid WU may have been simple luck. However, the Haswell that it validated against doesn't produce invalids.
I have enabled beta task to load my Intel(R) HD Graphics 530.
My computer hangs up if left for some time, for a night for example.
I believe it is because of the beta tasks.
There are some errors in the windows event log. Let me know if you need to see the error info.
The Intel GPU beta tasks use exactly the same binary as the regular tasks. The difference is just that they don't have the driver lock, so people who know what they're doing can try if a new driver fixed things.
If there's a problem with crunching on the iGPU you should get a driver reset rather than a freezing PC. Maybe try a BIOS update, considering your Skylake CPU is still relatively new?
New beta driver 4444 for Intel HD Graphics 5xx series (it says 5th and 6th generation i7). There is no mention of OpenCL as usual but there are some general fixes among all the gaming fixes.
I am running a batch of Seti beta work units at the moment and then will try a batch of BRP4's if they work. Given Intel's track record I don't hold much hope for it working.
What´s the driver to use for

What´s the driver to use for windows 10 64 bits + intel hd4400?
Work units are marked as inconclusive.
RE: What´s the driver to

I have one of those on my list ( a laptop which is not here right now)
So I can't remember if the drivers are newest or the one previous but it runs Valids 100% of the time.
And here the host page only shows the drivers for my GeForce cards so that doesn't help.

Yep, enable beta. I've lost track of the working drivers for Haswell, but try your current one and if invalids pop up update to the current one.
