Good guess, but no. It's a PC, not a laptop. I was sure that I set some preferences when I first got BOINC installed, but my messages are saying that there are no prefs set; using defaults. Even if my prefs were reset, would that cause BOINC to be suspended? That seems an unlikely default action to me...
There are (currently) 4 sets of preferences for each of general and Project specific: Default, Home, Work, and School. If you have not defined home, work, or school, and have selected that as the venue for your host, it will indicate that you are using the default settings.
I have exactly the same problem since updating from 4.19 to 4.45.
BOINC thinks "user is active". Was there something changed in how user activity is detected? And if the Screesaver is triggered - isn't that enough indication for missing user activity?
