The more bugs get fixed before the global release of the updated BOINC client, the better ;c)
This was a serious bug, the wrong time function was used causing misinterpretation of out-of-work server's delay requests. I think this one might be considered RC2 ?
Edit: apparently, Pirates@Home switched off their scheduler.

Roms a Veteran! This is no differn't than SETI Alpha and SETI Beta!
Sometimes you'll go a long time before an update, The problems just don't show up for awhile then the varibles kick in,,,, But eventually it all works...
I think E@H is going smoother than well see when the system is taxed
that'll be the next 10,000 Users....
Just My 2 Cents

Since you will release another version 4.19 or greater you could look in one small problem I had when I was translating Boinc to Brazilian Portuguese.
There were four lines that I couldn´t change in the Dialog-Proxy.
I put the correct translation in the file (language.ini), but the program remained in English.
The lines are:
Authentication=Autenticação
Use authentication=Usar autenticação
Proxy user name:=Usuário Proxy:
Proxy password:=Senha Proxy:
All other lines were corrected translated.
I upgrade to 4.18 without any problem.

The benchmark is affected by the usage of your computer while it is processing the benchmark - if processor usage is higher, you will get lower benchmarks. It basically counts free resources. If it pains you so much, close all your programs and force BOINC to redo the benchmark :)

Hi there and good evening/morning 00.54 AM Dk :)
No the benchmark was not better from prior version 4.17
Bench stats: Version 4.17
1360 Whetstone
2015 Dhrystone
Bench stats: Version 4.18
1329 Whetstone
1934 Dhrystone
So it is not for the better :'(, My crunch time is now something like 11 hours and before it was around 8-9 hours.
LOL

Remember that the benchmarks and your estimated completion time have nothing to do with how quick the WU is actually processed.
