And now it seems there are no more GPU tasks at all:-( Just polled for new work and even BRP4G is out...

My rigs are configured for GPU work only....

My one GPU host ran out of BRP6 work a few days ago. I think for now, I will continue to have it run FGRP search on the CPU until the GPU application becomes available. Overall, the BRP6 CUDA 5.5 application has been stable for me for quite some time now and also performs quite well running two tasks per Maxwell GPU at approximately 3250 seconds each.

Hi There, ---- FYI ---- I'm

Hi There,

---- FYI ----

I'm running a Rayteon/ATI gpu and cat get BRP4G-Beta-opencl-ati GPU WU. (October 2, 2016)

But these WU are available at sporadic times.

I try to share the WU.  I have BOINC set to ask for only one day's worth of WU - about 20.

With an average  turnaround time of 0.29 days, I believe this reduces the server database load,

and gives my wingman a short pending validation time - if any.

Hopefully another version is also available to nvidia.

Hope this helps,

Jay

Hi guys,The BRP4G WUGs

Hi guys,

The BRP4G WUGs aren't offline, they are "just" not fed any more data right now as our pre-processing pipeline needed to be shut down due to a maintenance window of our local supercomputing cluster. We're in the process of getting it back online such that BRP4G tasks should appear again soon.

Best,
Oliver

I know you guys are working

I know you guys are working on it.. but anyway I'd like to complain that it's becoming frustratingly difficult to donate the crunching power of a Pascal:

- GPUGrid does not yet support them. Waiting for a final CUDA 8.5 toolit, when other projects can run on 8.0 just fine (I don't think they've tried 8.0)

- POEM is out of work

- Einstein is deprecating the "good" BRP6 CUDA 5.5 and out of all GPU work

- SETI is down for maintenance (as always, it seems)

... and I don't care about even larger primes, consider Collatz a waste of energy (well, the iGPU is still running it) and Bitcoin and DNETC even worse. Might have to revisit Folding@Home, although SETI & Einstein should have something soon again. BTW: did I miss a current nVidia project?

Probably.  But stay away from the Beta.  It is a mess at the moment.  And POEM is down for the count (an Americanism, from boxing matches):  http://boinc.fzk.de/poem/forum_thread.php?id=1280

Sadly I will soon be crunching Seti on my GPUs.
