It works!! :)

I popped in on it yesterday and briefly got very excited by what I thought was a squirrel perched right on top - which I realise wouldn't exactly have proved you smarter than that one at least - but no need to worry :) it was only some fronds of something with roots that was shifting about in a breeze. It was also quite dark which suggested I'd come at a bad time.

It looks windier today - but I had no problem with buffering or anything. I thought there was some yesterday but nothing that was more significant than you fast approaching nighttime.

:)

oh... this:

"Do rest a bit and have something to eat."

It made me snort :)))

in the last 3 hours or so the temps have dropped from 60 to 47.  That wind you referred to is the reason for the sudden drop in temps.  Our weather here is dictated by fronts that move in/through from the north.  Tonight's low will be ~37.  yikes!!!! for florida this is a bit low.  Tomorrow's weather will be more of the same.

on the subject of eating.  Someone needs to.  I am curious about the lack of diners.

Blue Skies to all!!

They read the weather forecast and bid a hasty retreat to elsewhere.

We were @ 43 C six hours ago, thanks heaven for a wind shift from the south, now 27 C. But no wildfires today ! :-)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Know the feeling.  We are heading for 80F this Thur/Fri and then back to ~59F Sun.  Go figure!!!  The fire threat is fortunately something we don't have to worry about this year.  I feel for you guys and those in California who have had to deal with fire.

It's working for me too :)

It's working for me too :) YAY!!

I'm most relieved.

The last few times I'd popped by, before the oops appeared, I started having some concerns about your neighbours' severe insomnia. Obviously, the whole area had been plunged into perpetual night for ooh... a good few days... but it looked, from their lights being on all the time, that someone there was having sleep issues.

I'll keep an eye out for that over the coming days, obviously, but it is good to see the daytime has returned. I can get back to checking for squirrel invaders again ;)

I have grackles in the early

This live feed for me was as hard as rocket science (maybe its a way of answering the threads original question Tongue Out) I have grackles in the early mornings and they almost empty the feeder.  The squirrels have pretty much given up trying to climb the PVC sleeve.  They just feed off of what falls to the ground.

Maybe ;)

It could be a grackle I saw visit this morning. I took a screenshot of it - well a few actually but only one using the correct keys.

Yes I saw that yesterday ... although it wasn't quite what I expected... no... but as you can see, everything looked fiiiiiiiiine this morning :)
