Well not a good move ! I used to complete 3 WU in two hours all day long.
Now I'm only managing four WU in the same time period. So only 33% quicker.
The downside is that I've had to go from 8 HT CPU tasks down to 4 as well.
Overall not a good result, so now looking for another 1156 MoBo, for the i5 665K to let it join the fun !

P.S. Had no joy trying to run two tasks per GPU either...
Part of your problem might be that you are Beta version of the Boinc software, as Beta versions they DO have bugs in them! Now not all bugs are seen by all of us as we just do not do the things that causes them to show up. But to make Einstein run 2 wu's per gpu you NEED an app-info file, also did you check to see if Einstein has increased the wu size or complexity of the units you are crunching?
I borrowed an app_info file from this site, that others were using to good effect.
Should I purge my system this week and go non-beta ? ? ?
I think it is more to do with how W7 schedules work, by running 4 HT cores on S5HF 3.06 tasks I have two pairs of HT cores to feed the GPU's, but I have still "lost" 16 minutes per WU.
IMHO it's best to have three PC's, each with 1 GPU so I'm chasing another Asus 1156 MoBo ask I type this...

I agree with the one gpu per box idea, it also give more cpu's to crunch with! As for going non beta, I would do it but I would set all the projects to No New Tasks first, otherwise you could lose all of your units in your cache. I have upgraded and downgraded in the past and have both lost and not lost units, but I now run thru all my units on hand before up or down grading. I am not sure having an HT core to feed a gpu is what you want, I know you cannot specify what core does what, at least not now, but using HT is not totally without using the regular core too!
Thanks, yes I purged the system, but what with the CUDA vs CPU errors I have decided to "rest" my system for a few weeks. It's been running 24/7 since I signed up last August ! Except for hard drive/SATA/GPU issues !

Well had a couple of issues,

Well had a couple of issues, one time the PC sent replys that all downloaded WU's had Compute Errors without even starting the tasks...
On removing the 2nd GTX 460 I found I could run E@H and AQUA together, and my PC isn't overheating, crashing or having any driver failures.
I just hope there is plenty of BRPS CUDA work for us all !

P.S. Thanks for the help Mr. Ageless, I kept trying to open with XML Editor and it wasn't happy !

There are TONS of other projects out there that could use your crunching power if you chose! http://www.distributedcomputing.info/projects.html
Well tired of slow WU
)
Well tired of slow WU completion, I bought an Asus P6T6 WS which has 6 off 8x PCI-E slots or can be used as three 16x for three graphics cards.
4 WU on my i7 870 based Asus Maximus Formula took 2 hours - 2 WU per GTX 460
Now
4 WU on my i7 960 based Asus P6T6 WS take 66 minutes - 2 WU per DTX 460.
This is just a test set-up as I'm burning-in a new system.

Sounds like a good investment then!!

P.S. Just wish I could get a third GTX 460 OC in the middle, without two of them cooking...
