Oh gosh, my last profile update was when I was 23. I'm 35 now ... I feel old!
I'm Jesse, Canadian-born, but living in Colorado with my spouse and our four cats, seven chickens, and five rabbits. We run a technology repair business together for our smaller town.
I deeply love anything have to do with space and space research, and I've had a grand passion for Einstein@Home ever since I joined the platform in 2010. While my contributions have been minor compared to others with better hardware, I've been beefing up what I can accomplish as far as RAC goes and I'm proud to have just crossed 13M credits. So much more to come!
If you've never read up on it before, check out the Pulsar PSR J0002+6216, which Einstein@Home had a direct hand in discovering. It's my favorite pulsar, dubbed the Cannonball Pulsar!
I run Einstein@Home because space exploration and the continual advancement in knowledge and discovery about our universe I believe will be crucial to our existence in the next few centuries.
My suggestion: let's tell more people about it. :)
