Ran across a forecast from NBC that predicted the south east was about to get it's first seasonal nasty weather. Lightning, wind, tornado etc sometime next week.

Today it is supposed to be 80+॰F, partial sunshine, and breezy.  It is such a nice day, I could live with this all year long.  Unfortunately, it isn't going to last.  By Tuesday, it'll be in the upper 40's and dropping below freezing at night.   :*(

It is warm enough in Kansas, USA that I am beginning to feel the heat inside from the BOINC crunchers.

I may be looking at running them after 8 pm and shutting down by 8 am.

Darn.

I just took my cpu cruncher back to all "defaults" to lower it's heat generation.  I just took off all the OCing on the GPU cruncher for the same reasons.

Running one tower (cpu only)

Running one tower (cpu only) and 3 piz.  Temps started rising several weeks ago and there is no indication that they are going to drop.  My daily average is plumetting.  COME ON FALL!!!!!

I have washable/reusable furnace filters so I FINALLY did that.  I need to do them monthly though....

3 days of steady rain in the

3 days of steady rain in the lower Midwest (Kansas) of USA.

I know western Kansas could have used this.  I doubt they got it though (mountain rain shadow).
