Yes. Just because we might manage to plot a course that does leave us with a label somewhere on the inside,  doesn't mean we're not then going to effectively cheese-wire our throats with the wrong bit of the neckline or do even more injurious things with unmentionables, does it...? No.

:)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I'm a happy guy today : won

I'm a happy guy today : won an Ebay auction for parts for my knitting machine, plus setup a second Linux machine for BOINCing. So SusyQ now sits next to KickaBuntu. :-)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Your happiness has been

Your happiness has been noted, Mike.

They're very exciting things, Ebay auctions. I don't dabble there anymore, but once upon a time, when my daughter wasn't quite old enough to have her own account, I did. It was mostly in a supervisory "allegedly, I'm a responsible adult" capacity and to leap onto an overbidder for her if she was at school, but I did splash out on some tenterhook-purchases of my own - mostly to replace much-loved books I'd had to part with when I swapped a continent for an island.

One extra machine can lead to LOTS of extra machines as the results and credits start accumulating faster. Alot of us started with just one machine but now have a 'few' more.

Don't know about you guys but

Don't know about you guys but it's been raining every day for the past week or so for me and I'm ready for some dryer weather!! Being near the beach the rain does tend to run off pretty quickly but when it does rain it rains HARD and ALOT in a short time. The weather man says I should get over 3.5 inches in the next 2 days!!!

We had a down pour today.

We had a down pour today.  Luckily is was after bringing in the kids from the playground.  Even better it passed before I had to leave at the end of the day.

Annie...  you should be a writer if you're not already one.

I am with Mikey.  We have had

I am with Mikey.  We have had what seems like weeks of rain in the form of lightening and thunder storms.  Yesterday I was chased out of a public pool by an ominous black cloud and then later in the day I was chased out of a walking park by nearby rolling thunder.  The park has lots of tall straight pine trees and bent oaks.  I have a very healthy respect for "electricity".  It seems that this year has been much more active with respect to "rain events" of one kind or another.

I agree this is my 2nd Summer actually living here and this one is much more rainy than last year!! We had a thunder and lightening storm when I went to bed last night and again just now when I woke up an more are expected late on today. And no it's not from the late afternoon heat as it's only getting into the mid 80's around me right now. The weather man says we are in between two fronts and that's the problem, I wish they would move a bit, where's that jet stream when you need it?!!!

I've dug up an old machine and put a new HDD, PSU and quiet fans in. I call it TheFedRedux as it is a Fedora 28 with Xfce environment.  SusyQ is a Suse Leap 15 with KDE, and KickaBuntu is Ubuntu with Gnome. This way I sample the major Linux distros and desktops, while of course having to learn all three. They are all now doing E@H work.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) Have you double posted Mikey ??? :-)))
