I cannot see "my tasks"

I cannot see "my tasks" anywhere. Am I not looking good or needs that still be implemented?

Thanks,

TJ

believe you click Accounts, you should be in your dashboard. Then look for "TASKS", lower-right of the table that reads "COMPUTERS".

In the top navigation bar click on "Account", this will take you to your dashboard. On the lower left side you should have a list of your computers, under that list there is a link called "Tasks" this will show you all of your tasks for all of your devices. Click on "More" to the left of "Tasks" to get a list of your devices with links to their respective tasks.

How can I find my ranking?

How can I find my ranking?  The old web site had links to various other sites that provided stats, including rankings.

I have put the three still working - BOINCstats, Free-DC and BOINC Combined Statistics - as bookmarks in my (Safari) browser. If you still have access to them from doing any other project, easiest would be to pick them up from there.

If not, Free-DC at least seems straight forward, it is based only on your cross project ID - to be found under Account | Credentials, last parameter - and takes the form

//stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=<put your cross project id here>

Likewise, any ready made cross project stat image from there takes this form, the last two params being for cosmetic effect only, just try them out:

//stats.free-dc.org/cpidtagb.php?cpid=<put your cross project id here>&theme=9&cols=1

BOINC Combined Statistics is slightly different, but is based on the same cross project ID. I am just not sure this one is valid for everyone, but expect so to be honest. Just try it out:

//boinc.netsoft-online.com/e107_plugins/boinc/get_user.php?cpid=<put your cross project id here>&html=1

BOINCstats is slightly simpler, but relies on some internal ID used (my guess), I don´t know where to get it from. However, you can start from the top to find your own, here: http://boincstats.com/en/stats. Once there, try to find yourself by entering your user name in the top left margin, in the search box. Warning, the list might be quite long, but maybe you will be lucky... When you find yourself, click on the marker at the end of your line, to get the detailed statistics and save the resulting screen also as bookmark, as from there you can do anything with just one clic as usual. The resulting initial cross project screen takes this format, at least for me:

//boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/<BOINCstats ID>/projectList

Usually, the full string will start with ’http:’ in a browser, but I removed that because I could not find a way to avoid it to show as incomplete link. The angle brackets used in the strings above are only placeholders, do not use them in your own final string.

It appears that the pre tag

It appears that the pre tag is not supported in the subset of BBCode here on the Drupal site.  I used it in recent years in preference to the code tag.

Furthermore, in my attempts to use the code tag, I was unable to get multi-line text work work.  Presumably it should work, as there is an example in the supplied BBCODE help.  I've copied the example here, after first "laundering" it through a plain text editor to assure against straggle html bits.

</p><p><head></p><p> <title>Page Title</title></p><p></head></p><p>

So that did not work for me.

It would be good to get back some means of posting multi-line text with fixed spacing.  It would be especially nice of the formerly functional means of doing so (both the pre and the code tags) resumed working as they did before.

@Arachae86, Thanks for the

@Arachae86, Thanks for the heads up on the BBcode problem.

In the meantime,  you can go to the "Format" box and select "Preformatted". That allows you to put in preformatted text with line-breaks that work. Example:

Text in a this section
is displayed in a fixed-width
font, and it preserves
both      spaces    and
line breaks

 After you are done with your preformatted text, you then need to go back to the box and select Paragraph.

Actually it is supported. But since we now allow both BBcode and HTML in a posting it's a bit more complicated to use BBcode. I also recognized the problem which stems from the order of filters applied to a posting. We first parse BBcode into HTML and then check the HTML if it still contains only the elements we allow. Furthermore the Rich-Text editor doesn't know about BBcode. So it is better to use the HTML markup provided by the Richt-text editor than the BBcode as Shawn already mentioned. It needs some fiddling to get the result you want.
