Your new Logo does not let me jump out of my boots ...

I'll reply to the unanswered

I'll reply to the unanswered issues combined.

Where are the links to FREE-DC, BOINCSTATS, etc that used to be listed in the account section?

They are gone for now. I added a request to our bug tracker for this but this seems complicated and will not have a high priority.

Under Account/Preferences/Processor Usage it's too bad that the terminology "Switch between tasks every ..." wasn't changed to "Switch between projects every ..." which is what it really means.

I added a ticket for this. I think (but haven't checked) that there are more changes in the wording of the preferences as compared to other projects. I'll try to adapt our wordings to what is currently used in the latest BOINC version.

Where do I find the "Team Stats" that were once available?

you mean where you can see the ranking for a specific team? That is available via the link that is behind the number of total members in the team description page. Example: Team Rechenkraft.net click on the number next to "Total members" and you will get the rankings of this team. You can search for teams by clicking Community -> Teams in the main menu.

Biggest issue I've run into so far is it'll keep me logged in at most for thirty minutes and then it's a case of going through the login process all over again.

That's because we switched from einstein.phys.uwm.edu to einsteinathome.org as our URL. Once you have been logged in using the latter as the URL in your Browser you should be fine. If you visit pages using the old URL (and the ydo not get forwarded to the new one) it seems that you are logged out. In order to see the page you can manually change the URL in the browser to the new one and post the URL here so we can look at why the forwarding didn't work. Clearing the old Cookies may also help the situation.

That's intentional as we strip every HTML and BBCode from the message on this page. This page should just give you a short overview not display the whole message.

I'm sorry to hear that but the Logo is fixed and will not be changed. We know this is very subjective but the logo you see now was not the decision of one individual but of a group of people from the AEI together with professional designers. When creating a logo many use cases need to be considered. A lot of those use cases (transparent background, black and white version, different aspect ratios) would not work with your alternative by the way.

When looking at the graph on

When looking at the graph on MY STATS page, it doesn't tell me much.
There's no scale on Y-axis and it would be better if the time axis would show exact days/hours rather than -10, -20, etc. of something (apples, potatoes, days?).
Also, I'm not sure how accurate the graph is and how often it's updated. My recent output has gone up, but this doesn't seem to be reflected on the graph.

The stats graph is meant to

The stats graph is meant to give you a simple visual impression of your credit progress, nothing more, nothing less . See project stat graph on the front-page which is even simpler. Both are cached for (and thus updated every) 24 hours. The x-axis shows days as the "Today" label is meant to imply. Showing actual dates would mess things up unnecessarily.

Thanks Oliver, but I was hoping for a better impression ;-)

Another idea that just came into my mind would be to show site admins/staff on forum differently. This way users that are not experienced here would know if they get a response from ordinary users or the staff.

I just noticed today in

I just noticed today in reviewing the tasks list for an individual host that the filter list seems no longer to include the Inconclusive category.  This is also true for my account level tasks list.

Possibly this is just because my account may have zero inconclusive tasks pending at the moment, but in the old days the displayed filter list included the zero-member categories.

Inconclusive is a bit awkward, as it includes two very different cases:

1. your own host has returned a task, and so has the quorum partner, but the quorum partner failed an initial sanity check only performed once a quorum is fulfilled.  This one has zero threatening implication to one's own host.

2. the quorum was fulfilled, and both results passed their individual sanity check mentioned above, but they were not close enough to each other, so a third result was sent out as a tie-breaker.  Evaluation of threat in this case is best performed by review of recent results from one's quorum partner.  If that other PC is been participating in a high rate of error, most likely the problem is in the partner.  But if the partner has a very clean track record, and one has been doing overclock exploration on one's own PC, most likely this will turn out badly.

My long essay is by way of explanation of how I use this filter when it is available, and I am doing something where extra attention is in order (mostly commissioning new hardware, or exploring overclock range, as I happen to be doing right now).
