...does anyone know, how long this ship will be on autopilot?
I mean, the only guy who seems to be the one who can end this discussion are the project leader, but he is still not avail, as far as i understand.
And as if someone have to proove Murphys Law, he is out of town, just as this case pops up.
In the meantime the discussion is turning more and more to flaming..no wonder, cause every poster has already make his points a lot of time. So People blame other People "not to understand"...and start shooting on each other. Where this all could end I have seen at Seti.
So the Project leadership would be well adviced to get into here and give People answers to all points risen.
after that, the question again: does anyone know, when Bruce will be back?
Your parents sure failed to raise you properly. Once again you show how despicable you really are.
Well, I'm 41 years old and have no need of being raised at all, how ever I do have an IQ of 140 and don't need anyone to tell me what to do or not to do at all...
and I also don't have time to come in here and follow peoples modes and quarks when ever it fits them.
-------
But you're all right about one thing, the projects are definitely in a ever low status at the moment and I'll put it on hold and check in about a month and see if any better optimizations have been released until that...
In any case by running E@H I can get approx 26 credits per hr on my 3.2G P4 whereas on other projects using the stock BOINC unoptimised app and based on benchmarks I should only be getting somewhere around 10 credits per hr. E@H really is very good for credit. If you don't like the credit you are getting for E@H you must have rocks in your head.

Surely this should all be about the science.

Live long and crunch.

This unit of yours got about 12.9 per hr, not 26.
Try the Pizza@Home project, good crunching.

Yes but he has 2 CPUs in that machine so he would get double what you have calculated. Looks pretty close to 26 to me :).
Cheers,
Gary.
RE: RE: This unit of

Yep...approx 26 = 2 * 12.9.....
