BOINC@Poland is a multiproject team. We are the top Polish team overall and in most projects. Our webpage contains loads of useful materials, hot news from the BOINC world and a flourishing forum (and we do have an English topic here - if you want to be the first guest to write there - hurry up Wink ), where no question remains without reply. B@P is #77 in the world and #59 in Einstein. And yes, we are approaching Wink
Although we are the Polish team, we invite You, wherever You come from.
BOINC@Poland- W kwestii liczenia mamy najwiêcej do powiedzenia.
We are now starting Aussie Assault 6 (AA6). After being runner up in the last few polls for the AA, Einstein has been chosen to be the project which will receive our concentrated attention for the next few weeks.
Bruce Allen who is the Forum moderator, Project administrator, Project developer and Project scientist for Einstein has agreed, after much persuasion from members of the Team, and instigated by Mike Mitchell, to crunch Einstein for our Team. He has started this already and his numbers are very impressive.
The Aussie Assaults are a regular team-building exercise we run here at BOINC@AUSTRALIA - the results are always impressive and we have great fun at the same time. In the last Assault (on ABC@Home) another team - l'Alliance Francophone - learnt how much fun these assaults can be and helped both BOINC@AUSTRALIA and the project itself achieve spectacular results.
(overview of that assault here.)
We are the biggest, oldest -established in 1999 as Scotland's Seti - and, we'd like to think, best Scottish Boinc team around. We crunch for all the major Boinc projects and nearly all the minor ones. Our aim is to use our spare computing power to advance human knowledge while enjoying some friendly competition amongst ourselves and with other teams. So if you're Scottish by birth, ancestry, residence, emotional attachment or even if you've no link whatsoever with Scotland but just fancy being part of a lively friendly team, please come join us, everyone is welcome.
AND
We're the only team with a Highland Coo as a mascot.
We're closing in on the top 100 for Einstein.
We've got an excellent forum.
Here DownUnda we have a couple of those up the road that look like that, but minus the horns. We call them 'hairy' cows, and my dog loves them because they are quite placid - they nuzzle him! :-)
Cheers, Mike.

AA6 is an absolute blast, the team offered Bruce a bit of push in exchange for temporarily joining up with us. A fair but one sided request we thought. But the commitment from the team is amazing, in Einstein we are exceeding our pre-AA6 combined output and increased from around 50,000/day to 600,000/day.
It doesn't hurt at all that BOINC@AUSTRALIA is now 15th in Einstein either. :-) During AA6 the team has moved up five places in the combined stats as well.
We do rock.
If you'd like to join or just have a look around, the usual bits are in my sig.
