I just upgraded all the E@H webpages to the latest BOINC versions. Please report any problems you have with the webpages here.
Thanks.
HI. I have a problem with the way the message board pages display. I have set in my preferences that the Most Recent Post is to show first, but every time I return to read posts the site shows it is set to Least Recent post to show first. Can you fix this problem. I have been having this problem since the different BOINC project pages were updated. Some have been fixed, but this site still has a problem for me. Thank You.
There appear to be issues with several of the webpages at the moment. It appears as though there are database issues with Einstein at the moment. There are missing posts in the Vintage Computers and Einstein@Home forum as well as a database error in the AMD Phenom With B3 Stepping forum. The Top Teams link doesn't return values with any discernible sort order whatsoever regardless of whether RAC or Total Credit is chosen.
I get no credits from einstein@home?
Is there a problem?
greetings
None of the tasks you have show that they have been reported yet. You have to crunch them, upload them and report them before they are validated against your 'wingman'. If found without problems, credit is given out.

If the DNS entry was wrong, you would not be able to post to this forum.
It's far more likely that there is a problem with DNS server configuration on your host. It might also be useful to stop and restart BOINC.

The problem seems to originate from a faulty boinc-client RPM for Fedora 9 :(
When I restart the client as root it is able to connect to the www,
when the client is started at boot by Fedora 9 it isn't able to connect to the www :(
Can someone help me to give the client the necessary rights so that he is able to connect to the www when it is started by Fedora 9 at boot ?
I've noticed here that just after a server upgrade the "mark all messages as read" button moved from the chapters to the main message board page. I found this is not convinient because I often read messages from different boards and want to mark as read only those in current chapter.
Is it possible to move this button back to each board instead of main page?

Did you use the "Update" function at the bottom of the page after editing your forum preferences?

I think the reason they did that is AFAIK when you did that on any forum it marks threads as read for all of them.
I agree it would be better to have control linked to the current context.
