Thanks David, I'll try that now.

yeah, I saw that... somewhere
you'd think it'd be on the Add-on's page (is that the ThreadMaster?)
doing a forum search (from the forum homepage ONLY, why not on this page also like most other php forum sites?) for "Throttle" brings up 2 posts, yours, and somebody else talking about it (I guess it will be 3 now lol) but where is it? If it is Threadmaster, where did Throttle come from?

that would explain why you're called Babe, then.
So by Red and Denis logic, passed the launch date no one that are "competitive" would ever join a project because there are some bad bad bad people out there that joined before them, oh the infamy!
And Denis, you could have a 6 months head start, I can guarantee to you that unless you have 100's of computers crunching 24/7 you will not last long on any "scoreboard" since some people out there do have farms of computer crunching most of the time and they get thousands of credits per days. I started crunching at launch for seti@home/boinc version and I see people that have joined more recently passing me by daily now. I don't care, at least I know that they are returning valid science that helps the project.
For someone who keeps saying 'forget the points' you sure have a hard time doing so yourself.
As for the credits claim, the system is not perfect, but it does prevent the blatant cheating that occured in the old seti@home where countless false workunits where returned with zero science in it.

Well, as you can see, it still hasn't worked for me.

Again I agree with red get off the high and mighty horse and think about your audience.
Me for instance, I'm new and how does it look to me when you are dogging out another new guy just cause he asked a question you feel to high and above to understand from his stand point.
That being said again I am new and I am here for the points. It's more a competition of machines for me and those I get into distributed computing. The science is cool and if I am helping so be it. I mostly will never understand the science behind it.
So just understand some of us are here just for the competition of who's machine or machines can kick out some serious numbers better then most. If I get in a situation were someone can out do me well then guess what it encourages me and others to get more and more CPU's to mantain a certain status.
Now if Dennis is here for the competition then I can understand why it would not be fair to allow someone to get out front by a months worth of cpu cycles.
I thought the same when 4 hours after it opened I join a team and some peoples already have hundreds of thousands of points. Well that sucks!! cause I am here for the competition.
Now for those of you that all you care is that science is being helped you should want, accept and help those of us that are here for the numbers because we are going to be the producers of the big numbers. THAT IS WHAT WE AREW HERE TO DO MAKE BIG NUMBERS!!!
Understanding peoples is a big part of selling to people. What are you selling to people? Great that you should ask!
For some you are selling an opportunity to get into some serious numbers competitions using PC that the spend alot of time trying make them as good as can be.
Others it is about helping science along.
Either way science is being helped, numbers are being produced and can't we all just get along for the common good of the group.

found this under "Genera Preferences" under "your account".
Use no more than 100% of total virtual memory
Might this not work?
