The revision has one mayor disadvantage for me : For GPU-work the CPU-Time is always 0. The datum is transfered, but just not displayed. The CPU-Time gives much better insight into the behavior of the PC than the Run Time. So I do register this regularely. I´m lucky to have an old laptop, that dispalys CPU-time to me. But this is no safe operational mode. So I will be verry much pleased, if CPU-time will become displayed also in the new revision. Harri Liljeroos is also missing this. - Oh, as I just see, you noticed this malfunction.
As Archae86, I also would be very glad for a Task Page that can be sorted by Time Reported. At now I have to scroll often through 4 pages picking my data out of the list. A realy lengthy work! That makes also a lot of unneccessary traffic and interuption to the server. The software technology for this seems to be already implemented, but not applied to this column.
It´s great, that CPU Time is displayed now. The rounding of the Run- and CPU-Time to full seconds is acceptable.
Thank you also for applying the sort function to the SENT column. That´s more than half the way for sorting also the column TIME REPORTED. We do hope for.
There seems to be a problem that is perhaps associated with the recent changes since I haven't noticed it before. In posting a reply to another volunteer's question, I looked at this page for one of his computers. The tasks all show as "Completed, waiting for validation" whereas all are clearly past the deadline and have expired. The true status should be "Timed out - no response". The true status does show if you click on any of the WU IDs and look at the task in question as part of the complete quorum.
@Gary, By the time I looked at this the task had been cleaned from the database and I was not able to reproduce it. Next time you see this problem, could you please PM me? Thanks.
As for the request that we make Time Reported sortable, that's not possible currently. The table is sorted using a SQL query on the (BOINC) result table. The Time Reported column you see if built from multiple database fields, and not a single field. A single database field is what makes a column sortable.
And this user's host list is interesting: https://einsteinathome.org/account/23186/computers
All the ARM hosts that I tried have a reasonable number of tasks in total but no tasks are listed. I'd guess all the tasks are from anonymous platform app.
Your first link is exactly the sort of thing I posted about previously.
With the second link, I saw a lot of hosts with normal looking stats about each host in the list. I didn't quite know what I was supposed to see until I actually clicked on a tasks link for one of the hosts in the list. Quite amazing, lots of numbers for All, In Progress, Pending, Valid, etc. but not a single task showing in the list.
I used the pull down menu to see different applications but no tasks ever showed no matter what app menu entry was selected. There were two menu entries, All apps and the Arecibo app, both of which had the full number of tasks listed in brackets beside the name. Neither entry would produce an actual tasks list.
Thanks for sending the PM. Hopefully these issues can be quickly sorted.
