    My friend and I paid a visit to LHO in February, and it was a FANTASTIC experience to see H1/H2 up close and in person. The facility's outreach director, Dale Ingram, gave us a personal tour and we got to stand front and center in the LIGO control room. Wow! What a place. Since I am a computer scientist with background in data mining, Dale arranged for me to meet with a staff scientist, something I greatly appreciated. I hope to participate in the LIGO data analysis effort, and also work on the Mock LISA Data Challenge.

    You all should try to make time to visit LHO. Eastern Washington is pretty cool.
