After many false starts and stumbling along every-now-and-then, I passed 1 mill the other day!  Only took since Jan 2005.

I won't complain about that!  Your dedication to science, regardless of hardware, is commendable.  Congrats!

Sweet!  Persistence pays!

Ideas are not fixed, nor should they be; we live in model-dependent reality.

18 Years is a long time for anything, let alone for running a computer, or multiples, on a given project.

Congratulations!

Thanks George,

About the only other thing I have done for 18 years straight 24/7 is breath oxygen

Thank you for your commitment to this project and good luck in your pursuit of 500 million!

Thanks Dave,

Yes once I get stated on something I have to be forced to retire before I stop.

I have a friend who worked at CERN for many decades and the only thing to stop him was forced retirement at 80......but if I make it that long I  will still be here and by then maybe one billion since I will only be 64 on the 29th

Happy Birthday on Saturday!

As for your other comment, I too value long-term commitments.  I will turn 57 this Spring and have told my wife I intend to work until a bit beyond my 70th birthday.  So, I hope to have at least another 13+ years of E@H crunching!
