1 million just under 2 months

1 million just under 2 months but with atleast 8 days of down time. "A month an a half is closer... not that I really care about points but still it's a milestone."

100,000! I think for a

100,000!

I think for a laptop-user that is not so bad. My new laptop with a 610M GPU helped a lot. The RAC is still increasing and I think that I don't have to wait as long for the 200,000 as I did for the 100,000.

btw: Are there statistics solely for laptops crunching E@H?

Not in aggregate, but as an example : one of mine that I retired from use last year after a good long run. It was a Dell Inspiron 6400 and I had trouble obtaining replacement parts, alas.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

I imagine some are better than others Max but I happen to have one with the same card yours has (610M except mine is a 2GB version)

I have had mine running 24/7 since last June so about 10 months

I have a different processor so along with BRP cuda X2 I also have it running 8 Gamma Rays

Total credit 1,812,437 so far and the RAC is 7,853.65

I really like mine so far but will like it even more if it keeps running like this for a few years.

I've got a similarly old Acer that's still running good. So far the only part I've had to replace on it was the fan and ebay came through for me there. Another 6 months and it will overtake the aggregate credit from the pair of amd939 dual core desktops I bought around then.

CONGRATS! I remember how

CONGRATS!

I remember how excited I was when the HP netbook completed a single SETI Astro Pulse task in 932,000 seconds. Thats about eleven days. Life was simpler just a few months ago.

CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH. Where is the Cookie Monster when you really need him?

Keep Up The Good Work
