Well another hyped up New Scientist article. Which is why I no longer subscribe. They've become the Fleet Street of science journalism.
As usual some speculative theory ( and best of luck ) stretched along some dimension of thinking which may rattle some cage somewhere perhaps. Also mention Einstein 'cos that sells, and bury any mention of lack of evidence deep within the article ( like that no one has actually found a graviton or a sterile neutrino or a Higgs ). Throw 'quantum' in, and drop a famous mathematician's name for good measure.
Fine theoretical discussion, and let's hope one day string theorists can connect with experiment.
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) If that's the Nemesis/wreckage/flaw of relativity mentioned on the front cover, then they really have hit a new low. I refuse to buy it to find out .... been there, done that!
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
When we find a gravitron, let me know when this happens, and Ill hop on my surfboard and ride this gravitational wave through the dimensions and let you know where/when I go.
