just downloaded latest vers of E@H and have lost all info help!!

    Just downloaded newest vers. of E@H and must start over. I just don't know what info to fill in. Cant get a benchmark test. What are SOCKS and HTTP Proxy and do I need them? Some plan English help would be appreciated.

      Hold on, relax, no need to panic.

      Explain calmly in your own words what you have done so far. You downloaded 5.2.8 and then what? What was your old version of BOINC? Did you stop crunching prior to starting the new installation?

        After 18 hours of blank screens and asking for the computer to run a Benchmark I now have all of my Einstein @ Home Info and am crunching away.
