Dear Einstein Team,
I know you have to be very careful to get by with single precision for the GPU apps. But you've got the resources to test such things.. do you think you could gain anything from the native FP16/Int16 support of the new AMD GCN 4.0 GPUs? This is mentioned in the AMD press deck, but so far I have no idea if it will ever benefit BOINC projects.

Oh well, nevermind the question. FP16 performance is very limited in all but the highest end Pascal GPUs, so trying to use it here wouldn't make sense.
