Update: About 4/5 of the 200k workunits have been generated with wrong parameters due to a bug in the workunit generator. No more tasks from this broken set will be sent.
We fixed the bug and are currently running another test over on Albert@Home just to be sure.
We'll cancel the remaining workunits of the first charge and generate new ones on Monday. If you still have S6BucketFU tasks from the broken set on your machine that haven't finished (or even started) yet, you may abort these. There is no use in wasting computing time on these.
Thanks for the info, I was concerned somthing was wrong on my end since I "never" have errors while computing. Luckily it took only 15 seconds to generate 2 errors.
Of your new release this week : 8 out of 10 complete & valid & credit awarded, remaining two in progress my side. Thus 100% of those returned by me are cool. So far so good ! :-)
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
I have the new tasks running on a Q6600 and so far these tasks are running well. Out of five tasks, three tasks have validated so far and the other two tasks are pending. The new tasks take a long time to complete in the range of 27,443.21 - 31,750.91 seconds via this CPU.
