RE: If this is global

If this is global warming, bring it on. We've got the best weather here in England. I spent the morning at the open air pool in the park. It's been great.

Please, for me, get in your cars..burn those fossil fuels..

Please reconsider. It was 107F in LA LA land yesterday and it is cooling down to only 106 today. Oslo is looking better by the minute.

Let's hope a gravity wave doesn't pass between Sun and Earth. It'll make it even hotter here...

Today feels like that is happening.

What part of the country are you in? I am in the hills of Southern New England, think I will take a trip up to Vermont tomarrow, cooler there. Onlt 4 hours by regular roads to Brattleboro.
Would take a little longer to get there but Old Orchard Beach in Maine would be good also. I usually get up to Bar Harber a couple times a year, excelent fish there, taist much better tthan what we get around here.

I live in southern Illinois...about 65 miles east of St. Louis...For me there is nowhere to run to beat the heat...Except inside an air-conditioned building...I'd have to drive most of the day to get to a cool area....And i'm not even sure i'd get far enough in 12 hours to find coolness.

I LOST THE LOVE OF MY

I LOST THE LOVE OF MY LIFE

After a 5 year on again, off again relatinship I called it quits.

I found that there was just way to much infighting amoung the other crunchers over at SETI and broke off my realationship with SETI completely. SETI was a wonderfull place for quite a long time but is getting out of control as she grows up. Mabe sometime when SETI matures she will be worth taking back into my crunching life.

Well it was not really acompetely abrupt, I had started other relationships with Rosetta, CPDN and others before cutting SETI louse so the pain of louseing SETI was not all that bad.

After I left SETI I was playing around with others for a while, but think I have found what I was looking for in two places. Here at RNC and at QMC, two projects that seem to run great and have staff that will help others when needed. I will keep things going with Rosetta, Einstein and CPDN while I court RNC and QMC but see the beloved RAC at Rosetta falling, should stay around whare it is now.

Oh you thought that I ment I lost my women by the first line? That was just to get your attention.

I know what you mean. I used to look for fancy aliens. Now, I'd rather catch a wave. More thrills, you know...

This is a sad day for me. I leave my job officially at the end of this week and have to return my laptop today. I have been mainly using it to crunch Einstein. I am just preparing to delete Boinc off it now and then I will be down to one lonely P4. :-(
