After setting up e-mail account specifically for E@home I began
receiving e-mails asking me to update e-bay account and or asking
for my telephone number. Has my address been shared?
Einstein does not, but depending on where you made the account, it could have been one that was someone else's who closed it a while back, and then found back alive, again.
I had signed up a Yahoo one, and within minutes it was getting SPAM. I do not blame Yahoo, as it was somewhat a common word that I used, and I believe it was probably someone else who closed their account and I just happened to open the same name a short time after. That account has been closed, again.

I also suspect some ISPs sell information.
