Boinc, I can't remember at what point it failed, it was almost at the end.
Raspbian Wheezy.

I didn't try to overclock, because i have two power-consuming USB-Devices, so the PSU is already running at it's limit.

Ok with the wisdomf it's running a lot faster, around 63500s each.

Adding the wisdom file as

Adding the wisdom file as directed helped me a lot. My Pi2 at the 1GHz setting went from about 83k seconds to 49k seconds. The temperature went up from around 52 C to around 63 C. I have stick-on aluminum heat sinks on the CPU and ethernet/USB chips.

I have my Raspberry Pi 2

I have my Raspberry Pi 2 running Neon and used the instructions by Claggy to run it from the /home/pi folder. http://einsteinathome.org/node/198011&nowrap=true#139286

I am running four tasks and they are 65% complete after 15 Hours. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I also added a wisdomf file in /etc/fftw/wisdomf as suggested here http://einsteinathome.org/node/196560&nowrap=true#138467

The Raspberry operating

The Raspberry operating system must be pretty flakey as I had a power out and I could not get back into Raspberry afterwards. I had to re install from the "SHIFT" at startup loosing everything on the system and starting new.

I have BOINC up and running again in the HOME folder and running four NEON tasks.

I did not put in a wisdomf file as it seemed to slow it down. Will see how these go.

That is usually due to corruption of the filesystem on the sd card. If you have another linux PC (even another Raspi) you could try to connect the sd card via a card reader and do a file system check and repair on it.

Highly unlikely that it slows down things: This one (PI2 overclocked to 1GHz) uses the wisdom file and does a WU in ca 50000 sec.

If you set it up using a PC to put the image onto the SD card then you can always make a backup once you've got it running. I am updating one Parallella to Ubuntu 14.10 at the moment and made a copy of the SD card before I started.

I am running four tasks without the file and when they are complete I will add the file and see what happens for he nest four. I do not have the Raspberry overclocked at the moment and don't know where to do it anyway.

Just do

Quote:

sudo raspi-config

in a console window which brings up a simple text based interactive user interface. Choose "Overclock" , and in the next menu the "Pi2" option. After the next reboot, the overclocking will take effect.

This is just adding some lines to the file /boot/config.txt , you can also edit this file (with sudo nano /boot/config.txt ) to fine-tune or remove the overclocking again.

Greetings! My Raspberry Pi

Greetings!

My Raspberry Pi 2 is now crunching away, only 3 at a time though. Boinc says 4 AMD cpus. I tired adding 4 to cc_config.xml, 4 to app_config.xml, setting Use 90% of CPU and then resetting it to 100%. Rebooted and sang lovely celtic ballads all to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks to all for making this happen and for all the help given in this thread and the wisdomf thread.

Cheers!!
